You will join multi-national language classes following a syllabus closely mapped to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, covering key language domains and competencies appropriate to your level of ability with additional work on fluency and pronunciation. This course features: 10 lessons per week, 1 lesson: 50 minutes, 15 students maximum per class, ages 16+ This course is suitable for students who wish to improve their fluency, vocabulary and pronunciation in a language.

This is the School's main General English course and all four language skills are covered: reading, writing, speaking and listening, with a balance of language structure (grammar) and practical usage. It aims to increase learner's confidence in communicating effectively in English, while ensuring that classes are fun and interesting as well as educationally stimulating.

The Standard General English course takes place throughout the year and students may join this course on any Monday. The morning is divided into two parts and two teachers usually share the class.
