St George International is an English School in London, located close to vibrant Oxford Street and just three minutes walk from Oxford Circus underground station. Our fantastic Central London location, in the fashionable district of Fitzrovia, is the perfect place to explore the city after your classes have finished.
School Facilities
St George International is housed in a purpose-built training centre in the fashionable Fitzrovia district of Central London, just to the north of Oxford Street, where we are able to offer comfortable, quiet, attractive classrooms, free wireless and internet facilities and a study centre.
Study Centre
The Study Centre on the ground floor (room GF5) is generallly available for students to use from Monday to Friday after 3.00pm. The study centre room is also where the 'Homework Club' takes place most days at 3.15pm. This is where students can gather to do their homework with a teacher available to assist them.
Reading and Listening Materials
The Study Centre also contains a good selection of reading material and DVD’s that students can borrow. You can choose from graded readers, novels, magazines, grammar and vocabulary workbooks and exam practice materials all with a view to helping you develop your language skills.

In our lower ground floor we have a comfortable quiet social area where you can relax and socialise at break times and after classes. This student area also has a number of useful information boards that provide you with information on the school social programme as well as events taking place in London.

SGI has a mix of group and private tuition rooms for classes of varying sizes. All the larger group rooms also have computers linked to projectors. Our teachers make full use of this resource, as well as DVD/CD players and ipads, to ensure your lessons are stimulating and varied.
CLASSROOMS - Westminter University
During busy summer months we hire extra classrooms at Westminster University, which is only a two minute walk from the school building. These classrooms are bright and spacious.
WI-FI ACCESS
There is free Wi-Fi access throughout the SGI language training centre. So you can access the internet on your smart phones, laptops and ipads wherever you are in the building.
DISABLED TOILET
We are able to offer disabled toilet facilities on the ground floor of our centre.

If you are studying in the UK for over 11 months, you will receive a reference number called a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) that you need to submit to the UK embassy along with your General Student Visa application. Students who have successfully booked a language course and have paid their fees will receive a CAS from . Please note that UK law states that a CAS can only be issued to students who intend to pursue English language studies for over 11 months.
If you are studying in the UK for 11 months or less, you have to apply for a special visitor visa called a Student Visitor Visa. As a student visitor, you will not be able to work part-time while studying. If you plan to study in the UK for 11 months or less, a letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you.
