Course description

The Intensive General Spanish Course ELE20, available in our centre in Barcelona, targets people who wish to quickly acquire a working knowledge of Spanish. Among all our courses, this is the most popular course.
This course is ideal for foreigners who are starting to study Spanish in Barcelona or who need to improve their Spanish in order to live, study or work in Spain.
The Intensive General Spanish Course ELE20 consists of 4 hours of classes a day and is divided into 2 complementary sessions: Communicative Grammar and Conversation and Vocabulary. This course guarantees study and practice of all 4 Spanish language skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking), which makes it the most suitable course for progressing adequately in all areas of the language.
all the teacher are native and highly qualified, every 4 weeks there is a final exam, to skip to the following level.

The district of Gracia is like a small town. The Villa de Gracia, was annexed to Barcelona at the end of the 19th century but is still characterized by having its own personality. I appreciated the structure of the course. I took a 4-week B1+ class, which was divided into two parts: grammar and conversation. I appreciated that the teachers were responsive and concerned about our understanding of the material. The class size was small and very conducive to full participation and optimal learning. The conversation portion of the course was not only practical but really fun with classmates from many countries. I would highly recommend BCN for all levels of learning.

The class size at BCN Languages was quite small, my class size ranged from 2-10 which allowed for a very personal and interactive learning experience. The structure of the class was set up as such: 2 hours of grammar, 20 minute break, 2 hours of conversation. I thought that this was perfect because this allowed me to learn the new material and then put it into practice which proved very beneficial for actually learning and being able to use the language. No complaints whatsoever about the facilities or location. The teachers were fantastic. Very kind and very professional, they made learning Spanish very fun with different and engaging activities and conversation topics each day.

All our host families have been carefully chosen by our accommodation officer according to clearly defined quality standards, and are regularly checked.

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged 80 € when you register.
