Course description

Village Camps has developed an innovative and ingeniously crafted language-learning programme designed to fully engage the campers. An exciting range of projects, tasks, quizzes, competitions and games will inspire the interest and ensure the involvement of every camper. They are having fun together in small groups and will soon be using the words and phrases that they have been learning each day.

A New And Completely Different Way To Teach Languages

We deliver the English language programme in a way that is entertaining, interactive, engaging and challenging. We cleverly combine laughter and learning!

The campers learn from a new material that takes them outside their usual comfort zone but stimulates their interest providing them with new skills and knowledge that they can use during and after camp. Campers really enjoy learning to speak the target language together

Groups of students help choose their preferred lively projects

Emphasis is on gaining confidence and improving vocabulary so that they acquire fluency, engage in conversation and can aim at a presentation to an audience.

For over 46 years, the delightful alpine village of Leysin perched high above Lake Geneva, has been at the heart of the Village Camps Summer Camp programme that has welcomed thousands of youngsters from all over the world. Everyone will have time to enjoy the pure mountain air and the natural environment of this alpine paradise with its meadows, forests and wild-life. Highlights include a hike where campers taste homemade cheese and ice cream, a visit to the shores of our beautiful lake, and the great international city of Geneva.

Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged Fr. 20 when you register.

Please note that we do not book flights for our students. If you are researching airfare costs, we recommend using Kayak.com, a search engine that lets you compare flight options from your home country to Leysin based on your budget, schedule and preferences.
