St Bernard - Spring Camps
Our Spring Camp in the stunning Saint-Bernard Valley, located in the canton of Valais, offers a refreshing and inspiring learning experience in the heart of the Swiss Alps. As nature awakens after winter, participants enjoy blooming alpine landscapes, fresh mountain air, and a peaceful environment—perfect for combining language learning with outdoor discovery.
The program includes 12 hours of language lessons per week, held in small groups and organized according to students’ language levels. Classes are interactive, communication-oriented, and designed to build confidence through practical language use. Our young and enthusiastic teachers use modern teaching methods such as role play, games, audiovisual materials, and group activities to ensure an engaging learning experience.
In the afternoons, students take part in a varied program of sports, leisure, and creative activities, adapted to the spring season. These may include nature walks, light mountain hikes, team sports, cultural outings, creative workshops, and regional excursions. All activities are carefully supervised by experienced and attentive staff, ensuring both safety and enjoyment.
The camp takes place in a comfortable youth-friendly accommodation, offering shared rooms, spacious common areas, and a welcoming atmosphere that encourages social interaction. Participants enjoy homemade full board, ensuring balanced and nutritious meals throughout their stay.
Liddes – Saint-Bernard is a peaceful, safe, and inspiring location, ideal for children’s and teenagers’ camps. Nestled in the Alps, it provides a calm environment far from city life while remaining easily accessible from major Swiss cities. An accompanied train transfer from Zurich is also available for added convenience.
The friLingue Spring Camp in Saint-Bernard includes:

FOR KIDS & TEENS AGED 12-17 YEARS
Our latest camp is situated in Schwarzsee, an idyllic Alpine setting, ensuring an unforgettable experience away from the hustle and bustle. Please note, this isn't a professional camp; it's designed for football enthusiasts seeking an enriching and enjoyable experience rather than preparation for the Champions League :)
Participants will engage in morning language classes followed by action-packed football training, challenges, and matches in the afternoons and evenings. Between sessions, there will be opportunities for relaxation and enjoyable downtime activities, including a Friday night disco to unwind after an exciting week!
LANGUAGE CLASSES
Choose from three languages - Premier League English, Ligue 1 Français, or Bundesliga Deutsch. Our dedicated and dynamic teachers conduct classes in small groups, fostering meaningful interactions with an average of six students per class. Morning language sessions encompass a balanced blend of grammar, practical language application, and engaging projects tailored to make language learning accessible and enjoyable for young learners.
FOOTBALL
Under the guidance of our seasoned football coaches, participants will undergo training, challenges, and matches at full-sized pitches and top-notch training facilities, just a brief two-minute stroll from our Schwarzsee residence. The program focuses on honing individual skill sets, team dynamics, and game strategies through specialized drills, personal development techniques, and live match practices.

Set against spectacular mountain scenery and nestled in our comfortable alpine chalet, this spring programme offers a mix of learning, sport and outdoor fun — perfect for juniors and teens.
Student residences are more suitable for an independent student, who is looking for clean, basic accommodation at an economic price. All students must be 9 - 17. Your housing starts on the Sunday before your first day of class and ends on the Saturday after your last day of class, unless otherwise noted. Learn more about student residence accommodation
We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.
Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you.
