The Long Term General Japanese Course is for all level of students who wish to study and live in Japan for a long period. The curriculum is based on JLPT preparation. It is absolutely no problem even if you have no idea what to do in the future.
A special teaching method is used. You have a lot of chances to speak up in the elementary classes.
For Intermediate or higher level of students, we offer elective classes for 4 hours out of 20 hours. The elective classes can be chosen from “University Pathway Class”, “Graduate School Pathway Class”, “College Pathway Class”, “JLPT Preparation Class”, and “Practical Conversation Class”.
Beginner to Intermediate students are generally placed in the afternoon class, and Upper intermediate to Advanced students are generally in the morning class. The class will be decided as a result of the placement test on your first day.
Minimum enrollment is 20 weeks (6 months including holidays), and available to extend the course onsite, up to 2 years.

During the General Japanese Language Course, ISI Osaka offers a wide range of elective classes for students at the upper levels. Student residences are more suitable for an independent student, who is looking for clean, basic accommodation at an economic price. All students must be 18+. Your housing starts on the Sunday before your first day of class and ends on the Saturday after your last day of class, unless otherwise noted. Student residences often do not include any meal plan. We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.
