This programme allows students who are CEFR level A2 and above to join lessons in a Group class for 15 hours per week. When group classes are not available students will join a Three2One or Two2One or One2One class and may study less than 15 hours per week.

Individual tuition is offered at all levels, from Beginners to Advanced throughout the year. Each of our specialised courses is designed to meet the needs of particular specialist areas.

A Home Language International immersion course means you live the language you are learning and is the fastest, most natural way to learn. You are staying in your teacher’s home, have one-to-one language lessons and continue to use and practise your language skills sharing the daily life of your teacher’s family during meals, conversations, visits and activities as they all take place in the language you are studying.

This programme allows students who are CEFR level A2 and above to join lessons in a Group class for 9 hours per week. When group classes are not available students will join a Three2One or Two2One or One2One class and may study less than 9 hours per week.

This programme allows students who are CEFR level A2 and above to join lessons in a Group class for 6 hours per week. When group classes are not available students will join a Three2One or Two2One or One2One class and may study less than 6 hours per week.

This programme allows Beginner level students to join lessons for 15 hours per week. It is suitable for Pre-A1 to A1 students who are 16+ years old and who can study Monday to Friday from 13:15 to 15:30 in the afternoons.

Individual (1:1) tuition offers students the opportunity to focus intensively on their personal areas of weakness, to ensure maximum progress. Students are asked to complete a level test, and a needs analysis, in advance of arrival, in order to assess their current level.

You will have a personalised OHC English Programme based on a strategic needs analysis by OHC. You choose how many lessons you will have and on which topics and areas of language you would like to focus, depending on your personal objectives; for example, you may wish to improve your Conversational English, to concentrate on your Grammatical Accuracy or develop your ability to Read and Write in English.

The course General English classes offer you the chance to study 3 hours of English in the morning and have free time in the afternoon to enjoy the sights of Oxford, do extra study or even get a part time job*. The first hour focuses on practical English and study skills to help you use the English you have learnt During the 2nd and 3rd hour we work with a course book to enable you to improve the 4 main skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing as well as grammar and vocabulary.

The course Our summer programmes are an exciting and effective way for you to improve your English while living and studying in one of the world’s most famous, stimulating, and beautiful cities. If you choose a 15 hours course, you will only have morning lessons, which finish at 12:30.
