One-to-one English lessons in Oxford

Individual (1:1) tuition offers students the opportunity to focus intensively on their personal areas of weakness, to ensure maximum progress. Students are asked to complete a level test, and a needs analysis, in advance of arrival, in order to assess their current level.

You will have a personalised OHC English Programme based on a strategic needs analysis by OHC. You choose how many lessons you will have and on which topics and areas of language you would like to focus, depending on your personal objectives; for example, you may wish to improve your Conversational English, to concentrate on your Grammatical Accuracy or develop your ability to Read and Write in English.

Studying a General English course, you will increase your vocabulary, enhance your grammar, improve your written work and strengthen your reading skills. To Achieve this, our General English courses use a variety of teaching methodologies that aim to develop both fluency and accuracy in the use in the language.

Individual tuition is offered at all levels, from Beginners to Advanced throughout the year. Each of our specialised courses is designed to meet the needs of particular specialist areas.
