Part-time English courses in Scotland

This English course is for people who wish to improve their general level of English. The course concentrates on improving all aspects of your English but we strongly believe in helping you to learn to speak English well so much of your time will be spent practising listening and speaking.

The Standard General English Course takes place every morning from Monday to Friday, leaving you free every afternoon to join the Social Programme or study in our Self-Access facilities. Your morning lessons are divided into two parts and you will usually be taught by two different teachers.

The General English course consists of 20 lessons each week and is the least intensive option offered at Kaplan. This course allows students to improve their English while still leaving time for sightseeing and leisure during their stay.

Private (One to One) lessons offer the best possible way to improve your English level quickly and effectively. If you choose this option we will give you an extensive level test so that your teacher can plan your lessons efficiently.

On our Combination Course, you will follow the Standard English Course in the mornings and you will also have 5 hours per week of individual one to one lessons. These are designed to meet your individual needs and requirements and offer you the ideal opportunity to work on specific language problem areas with your own teacher.

Centre of English Studies gives students the unique opportunity to study in two countries in any of our centres. The Multi-Destination Course gives students the opportunity to live in both England and Ireland and more about the culture, history and social life of both countries.

General English Combination Course - 15 Hours Group + 5 Hours Private Lessons The General English Combination course at Live Language Glasgow is perfect for students who want to learn English for a specific purpose but have limited time. This flexible course combines 15 hours of General English group lessons with 5 hours of personalised private lessons tailored to your individual needs.

The English Language Program at ISSOS is designed for those who have English as a second language, the interactive program caters fo all ability levels and helps students become proficient in English by immersing them in an English speaking environment for three weeks. On arrival at ISSOS students will be given a proficiency test so that we can establish the English level and they can be placed in the correct class level.
