The market town of Brecon is located in southern Powys in Mid Wales. It is the county town of the county of Brecknockshire. It is the third largest town in Powys. The area was originally established as a cavalry or military base for the Romans. The River Honddu and the River Usk meet near the town center not far from the River Tarrell. Students enrolled in English school in Brecon should be sure to explore the Brecon Beacons National Park and its visitor center. The park has many things to do including an opportunity for guests to climb to the top of the highest mountain in South Wales. The Brecon Cathedral and St. Mary’s Cathedral are also interesting historical sites that visitors to the area should be sure to see. The town has many interesting, historic stone structures for visitors to enjoy. Also be sure to visit the Iron Age hill fort on Pen-y-Crug just northwest of town, or the remains of the Roman camp at Y Gaer to the west. Each offers a glimpse into the area’s lengthy and interesting history. Students taking English courses in Brecon might also be interested in visiting the Brecknock Museum for further information about the history of the area. Those lucky enough to be in the area during the Brecon Jazz Festival will be able to enjoy all that the festival brings to the area in terms of performances and fun. This English Language course is bespoke and on Monday morning during the introductory lessons we establish in detail how the course will be tailored for you.
Intensive Combination is 15 hours in a group of maximum 4 people concentrating on language for meetings, presentations and negotiations. Then there is a further 15 hours per week of one-to-one tuition to concentrate on personal requirements of vocabulary, grammar or special targets.
Intensive Individual courses are designed for people who have very specific needs and want to make the maximum progress in the shortest time.
The course consists of 3 hours each morning one-to-one with a teacher and 3 hours each afternoon one-to-one with a different teach
